Britanya McLaren, from Hermitage Bay, emerged victorious in the Taste of Wadadli Pastry Chef competition, besting seven other talented chefs.

In a riveting final showdown, she outshone three contenders to claim the  title.

McLaren’s winning masterpiece, a Spiced Sweet Potato Panna Cotta, showcased her culinary prowess by ingeniously incorporating all three secret ingredients: Beauregard Sweet Potatoes, Japanese Purple Sweet Potatoes, and Back-rah Mary Sweet Potatoes.

Her triumph earns her a well-deserved spot on the Taste of the Caribbean Team Antigua and Barbuda, alongside chefs Roderick Beazer, Ronald Wilson, mixologist Altino Spencer, junior chef Azarie Crump, and their leader, Chef Maurine Bowers.
