Today, a search was conducted by the Narcotics Squad on a property situated in Jennings.
It was discovered that two men, namely 49-year-old Denfield Roberts and 23-year-old Deshawn Lattibeaudiere, were in possession of an enormous amount of Hashish, weighing a total of 52.9 pounds.
Hashish, a controlled substance derived from the cannabis plant, is produced by compressing and processing specific parts of the plant.
The estimated value of the seized substance amounts to $590,200. Following the discovery, both men were taken into custody by the police.
