Man charged with raping 12-year-old

A 27-year-old man has been remanded to prison after being charged with raping a 12-year-old girl.
The man who is said to be facing similar allegations already before the High Court, was charged with one count of unlawful Sexual Intercourse and one of serious indecency.
The offense allegedly occurred on April 5.
The accused appeared in court this morning and was remanded after the Magistrate found out about his priors.
His committal hearing was set for September 3.
