The investigation into the prison officer’s alleged involvement in a brawl that critically injured an inmate in early May is ongoing.

Reports suggest that multiple prison officers have contacted the police regarding the incident.

The inmate, Isaac, was serving a one-year sentence at His Majesty’s Prison for malicious damage.

Tragically, he passed away on a Saturday while receiving treatment at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre.

Isaac had been hospitalized for nearly two weeks after being left paralyzed following an alleged altercation with an unnamed guard.

It is reported that he was slammed to the ground, resulting in severe spinal injuries.

Prison Superintendent Colonel Trevor Pennyfeather stated that while he has not been formally updated on the investigations, he has been having ongoing conversations with the police.

The cause of the brawl is still unclear, and according to the deceased’s father, Isaac had no conflicts with other inmates.

Prior to his passing, he was awaiting surgery by a doctor from overseas to reverse his paralysis potentially.
