Prime Minister Gaston Browne, who represents the St. John’s City West constituency, will be hosting a townhall meeting at the end of the month to address various important matters, with a special focus on the Booby Alley Housing Project.

Kem Hodge, the Constituency Aide to the PM, announced that the meeting is scheduled to take place at the Villa Polyclinic on May 30.

During the meeting, the prime minister will provide detailed updates about the Booby Alley project and seek feedback from the constituents.

Additionally, he will discuss the popular music program at the Villa Primary School, as well as the planned road network upgrades and repairs in the area.

The prime minister will also unveil plans to upgrade the football field and launch a football league in the region.

Furthermore, the Chinese government has initiated a public bidding process in both Antigua and Barbuda and China to select a contracting firm for the Booby Alley housing project.

This initiative is made possible through a grant from the government of the People’s Republic of China and aims to construct a multi-story housing facility for the residents of the Booby Alley area who have been temporarily relocated.

The project is expected to serve as a model for similar developments throughout the country, with another potential area for such a project being identified as Mongo Town.
