A man who had sex with his daughter at least four times, will be sentenced on June 7.

The accused pleaded guilty to four charges of incest last month.

He had sex with his daughter on at least four occasions between 2014 and 2015 when she was around 15.

However, the victim claims that she was sexually assaulted by him since the age of 9 and reported it to her school counsellor at the age of 11 but was forced by him to recant her claim.

The victim got pregnant at the age of 15 as a result of the unlawful sexual intercourse and continued to be molested even after bearing the child.

The accused was in his early 40s at the time.

He is now on remand awaiting sentencing which could end up being up to 15 years for each count of incest.
