On Thursday evening, Prime Minister Gaston Browne conducted a town hall meeting at the Villa Polyclinic, where he provided updates on various community initiatives.
He highlighted the upcoming Booby Alley project and emphasized its impending commencement. Additionally, the Prime Minister addressed the pressing issue of youth violence in the community, discussing strategies to curb this concerning trend.
During the meeting, PM Browne urged all attendees to take advantage of educational opportunities, particularly emphasizing the YEEP program and the UWI Five Islands.
Furthermore, he discussed plans for a new building on Bay Street, outlining its intended use as a financial institution with dedicated spaces for entrepreneurs, such as barbershops and superettes, with priority given to constituents of City West.
In an effort to foster community pride, the Prime Minister encouraged residents to actively participate in beautifying the area and maintaining its cleanliness.
