Joanne Massiah
Joanne Massiah, the Political Leader of the Democratic National Alliance (DNA), is currently in stable condition after receiving hospital treatment at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Center.
Massiah had emergency surgery a few days ago.
Sources close to the matter said the procedure, which removed a blockage from her body, was successful, and she is said to be in good spirits.
The country heard about her hospital admission when her colleagues issued a letter on June 7th, asking for blood donations on her behalf
Massiah is a former MP and a practicing attorney-at-law,
