GARD Center Devastated by Extensive Theft

The GARD Center faced a devastating theft where thieves made off with virtually everything.

Staff arriving this morning discovered a broken door and numerous missing items, including stoves, freezers, fridges, mixers, AC units, a water fountain, tables, seedlings, and locally-made soaps.

In a heartfelt statement, the Center expressed its disarray given its mission to support vulnerable individuals by offering training to foster sustainable livelihoods for themselves and their families.

This recent break-in, however, has dealt a severe blow, stripping away crucial training and support equipment.

The GARD Center is vital in providing vocational training and entrepreneurial guidance, equipping young people with the skills necessary to succeed in a competitive global job market.

The theft of these resources represents a significant setback for the Center and its community.
