The St. John’s City East branch of the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party is currently hosting a week of activities, with the highlight being the grand re-opening of its branch office.

One of the key events organized by the Constituency Representative, Information and Energy Minister, Melford Nicholas, was a town hall meeting held on Tuesday night.

The meeting featured esteemed speakers including Prime Minister Gaston Browne and Works Minister Maria Vanessa Browne.

During the meeting, MP Nicholas provided constituents with updates on various developments in the constituency, covering areas such as infrastructure, safety, and education.

He also shared details about his comprehensive developmental plans for the constituency, emphasizing how these plans align with the national development goals of Antigua and Barbuda, as articulated by PM Browne.

Attendees at the meeting had the chance to ask questions to the panel members present.

The week of activities will culminate this weekend with a constituency-wide clean-up campaign, bringing the community together in a collective effort to enhance the area.
