A young woman could find herself in trouble with the law after she suggested that Antigua and Barbuda’s Prime Minister Gaston Browne should be next in line to be assassinated
The young girl was commenting under a post about the attempted assassination of Former US President Donald Trump last night, said “Aru need fu shot Gaston Browne next”
PM Browne told Antigua.news that he does not know the individual but says her comments will not be taken lightly
An investigation has already commenced into her identity and location.
Prime Minister emphasized the importance of respectful dialogue and condemned any form of incitement to violence. He also highlighted the crucial importance of individuals expressing their opinions in a peaceful and lawful manner.
The Prime Minister assured the public that the necessary authorities are looking into the matter, and appropriate actions will be taken in accordance with the law.

This matter should not be treated lightly. People in this country, and young people in particular, imagine that they have all rights to say and do as they please. Here comes a teachable moment. If this irresponsible idiot is anxious for a public bloodbath, why not offer up her own father, brother, son or even self. Why pick on someone else’s family member? Drugs, neglect, and outright dungeness seem to have hardened the hearts and brains of so many of us, especially the young, idle, ignorant attention seekers among us. I remember a particular politician says that blood will flow openly in public during a political campaign, and for today that politician was never arrested, or seek out by the authorities. Yes, what this young individual says about the PM is totally wrong, and should be question by the authorities. I am sure she/he is not only person(s) who has think that way and have say the same words towards the PM.
