Jai’Lilah and Ruez win Junior Soca Monarch 2024

The 2024 ACB Caribbean Junior Soca Monarch competition showcased the vibrant talent of Antigua and Barbuda’s youth, with last year’s ACB Junior Calypso Monarchs emerging victorious in the Soca field.

Empress Buchanan, performing under the stage name Jai’Lilah, claimed the Jumpy Soca crown, dethroning 2023 winner T’jae Edwards, known as Mini Rampler.

This was Jai’Lilah’s competing in the Jumpy category but she won the Groovy Soca title in 2023.

Ruez Titre captured the Groovy Soca crown, taking over from Jai’Lilah.

However, Jai’Lilah’s talent shone through as she secured first place in the Groovy category this year, with Deshawn John (stage name Dandede) taking second.

The Jumpy Soca category saw fierce competition, with Mini Rampler claiming first place, followed by Shamia Rhoden, known as Tyara, in second.
