VIDEO:PM Browne reflects on poverty-stricken childhood

Prime Minister Gaston Browne

Antigua and Barbuda’s Prime Minister Gaston Browne clearly did not have an easy life.

In a shocking eulogy on Tuesday, Browne told those gathered at the St John’s Wesleyan Church that he was so poverty stricken, he was hospitalized with malnutrition.

He said because of the severe poverty, he was unable to walk until the age of four years old.
