Young Man Stabbed During J’ouvert

5 August 2024 - 13:08

A young man is presently receiving medical care for serious stab injuries at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Center.

He sustained stab wounds to his back, neck, and chin. Our newsroom possesses photos of the injuries, however, they are quite graphic.

The attack took place during J’ouvert festivities in St John’s.

Medical professionals have confirmed that his injuries are not fatal.

The incident resulted in an immediate halt to the J’ouvert celebrations.
