Police Probe Murder of Liberta Man

STRATCOM PRESS RELEASE

The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a shooting incident that resulted in the death of a 43-year-old Liberta man, and left two others nursing gunshot wounds at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Center.

The incident occurred around 11:00 pm at the East Bus Station (“Shanty Town”) area on Tuesday, August 6. The victim was pronounced dead at the hospital at 11:50 pm.

The police will be providing further details as the investigation unfolds.

Meanwhile, the police are appealing to anyone with information surrounding this incident to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or call Crimestoppers Hotline number at 800-Tips (8477).
