Festivals Minister clarifies misconception about viral sexual video
Festivals Minister Daryll Matthew has addressed public concerns regarding a controversial video circulating on social media.
The video, which depicts explicit sexual activity between a man and a woman, had initially been thought to have taken place during a public Carnival festivity.
Matthew, upon reviewing the footage, has definitively stated that the incident did not occur during any official Carnival activities.
“Well, I was shown the video. I was able to confirm, not personally, but to through a third party, that that was not a carnival activity. Apparently, that was a private event in a private residence or establishment, but that was definitely not on the street during carnival activity,” he said.
This clarification comes in response to public speculation and concern about the appropriateness of such behaviour.
