Pickup Truck being driven by 19 year old

Over the weekend, a pedestrian was critically injured in a collision involving a pickup truck allegedly driven by a 19-year-old.
The incident occurred on Friars Hill Road when the young man, reportedly driving his father’s vehicle, lost control of the truck.

Reports indicate that the driver was speeding and lost control near the Langfords Police Station, striking a 29-year-old pedestrian who was walking on the east side of the street. The truck veered off the road, flipped multiple times, and came to rest in a ditch.

Emergency Medical Services transported both the pedestrian, who sustained severe injuries and was found unconscious, and the driver, who suffered minor injuries, to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Center for treatment. The 29-year-old pedestrian was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for further care.

This is exactly why it’s getting harder to obtain licenses at a young age!! What is wrong with these young people and speeding

I didn’t know 19 years of age was teenaged, I guess that’s why people here have kids living with them at 30 and 40 years old also. Y’all just can’t cut the umbilical. That’s why these bums have no motivation…

“Nineteen” self explanatory but you have some valid points in the terms of how long young people are allowed not to be independent
