Young woman cries blood after beating from religous leader

A young woman in her early twenties has filed a complaint with the local police station in Antigua and Barbuda after being subjected to a severe beating by the assistant pastor of an evangelical church here.

The assault was so brutal that it resulted in the woman being placed on a two-month medical leave. Her eye had to be stitched.

The name of the church involved has been kept confidential and specific details about the incident were intentionally omitted by our newsroom.

“I cried blood. Literally,” she tells Antigua.news.

The victim reported that she was repeatedly struck in the face following an altercation with the assistant pastor, who is known to have a history of violent behavior.

She expressed a hope that he would never be allowed to preach from the pulpit again.

The authorities are currently conducting an investigation into the matter.

The woman suffered visible bruises as a result of the assault, and she is seeking justice for the harm she endured.

    @realist well antigua.news will have to find the pastor and do the story. This would be the bombshell of the century. Antigua.news broke the Anthony Smith and nobody believed they were correct. So I assume their sources are credible. There is no smoke without a fire. When antigua.news tell you something there is a little truth to it. This is according to their history. So Indeed we waiting to find out. Antigua.news do you’re homework. Who is the liar? The beaten up red neck or the pastor?

    @JahJah, Her full face has been circulating on whatsapp so everybody will soon have it.
    Realize that the Daily Observer didn’t carry this story, she teamed up with her friend and I assumed this was her friends platforms since it said the story was delivered here FIRST, if this is not her friends platforms it’s the other one. So forgive me if I ever mislead anyone to believing so. Because she talk about her friend who operates another Newsroom.
    She is misleading the whole digital world into believing she was assaulted for nothing.
    Interview her properly and tell her to tell the whole story then, find the pastor cuz she knows who he is and interview the pastor and then, you make a proper story to give to the public.
    Do it before Daily Observer does it the right way and get RIGHT story FIRST.

Scratching my bald head…but isn’t this online newspaper owned by philanthropist and ambassador multi millionaire Dr Dario Item? So he sold it to a former worker of observer?     First of all, the young lady wrote this articule herself, she works for The Daily Observer and the owner of this newsroom WORKED for The Daily Observer.
    This article is missing everything except the fact that she never thought her actions through.
    Questions to this newsroom:
    1: Why was she “assaulted?”
    2. Have the police really been involved?
    3. Have you as journalists, try to investigate yourself to see if there is any truth to this story?

    1. What if you found out a different side to the story?
    2. What if this was nothing near the truth? It is sick how we out here passing judgement on matters that we don’t even know is true.

    The devil comes to kill, steal and destroy and Pastors as leaders are attacked. That’s why they need to be prayed up and fortified to fight back. Nobody knows what his background was before Christ cleaned him up, and we don’t know what prompted this vicious attack.
    What we do know, is that a stint in jail is the solution here, because no one is above the law, and whilst he can repent of his actions, and God will forgive him if he is sincere,, he must face the consequences of the crime as his victim deserves justice.
