Regular operations resume at the hospital following the storm

Sir Lester Bird Medical Center

The Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre has announced that all services will be returning to normal effective today, August 14th.

The Communications Manager, Salma Crump, expressed gratitude for everyone’s patience and stated that the center will resume normal operations as of today.

Patients with scheduled appointments for today are encouraged to keep them, and those who missed appointments due to the recent disruptions caused by Tropical Storm Ernesto will be contacted by a member of the care team to reschedule.

This announcement follows the previous cancellation of outpatient services due to the storm, but now that the storm has passed Antigua and Barbuda, the hospital is resuming its regular operations.
