Young Workers Elect New Executive for ABWU’s Youth Arm
Young workers recently participated in the Antigua and Barbuda Workers’ Union Youth Congress and elected a new executive for the Youth Arm.
The event marked an important moment for the union to pass the baton to young workers, with a focus on increasing their participation and addressing key issues such as climate change and mental health.
The new executive members are encouraged to take on a more robust involvement within the union and its membership.
The Union will host its 57th Annual Delegates Conference in September, with expected increased involvement from young workers.
