Four persons are in police custody for questioning in connection with illegal firearm, ammunition, and controlled drugs.
The police conducted multiple stop and search operations today, and seized a quantity of cannabis and a 9mm Glock pistol with a magazine of 13 rounds of ammunition.
Three men were arrested in connection with the firearm and ammunition and one person was taken into custody for the controlled substance.
The operations were conducted at places such as, Clare Hall, Ottos, Gray’s Farm, Cassada Gardens, and several other areas.
These heightened security measures are part of the mandate of the police to tackle the crime situation in the country.
Residents are urged to cooperate, and continue to give the police your full support going forward.

Charge them and send them off with no bail let them feel the pressure before they get bail every day they use these guns to rob people business places
these young guys need to stay away from crime and bad company too many of our young ones going off to the wrong road
