Jo-Anna Gasper has made history as the first Antiguan to attend the LEAP programme in Jersey.

The LEAP programme is designed to develop business, entrepreneurial, and leadership skills in young women.

Participants work in international teams to create and pitch social enterprise projects addressing global issues. 

The program includes workshops, lectures, and mentorship from global experts, culminating in a “Dragon’s Den” style pitch competition.

Jasper represented Antigua and Barbuda with distinction. She was also accompanied by Deputy Director of Education, Dr. E. Jonah Greene.
