KOEINA JOSEPH CHARGED FOR ROBBERY IN PARHAM

Police have arrested and charged 18-year-old Koeina Joseph of Cooks New Extension with Aggravated Robbery, Unlawful Possession of an Unlicensed Firearm, Unlawful Possession of one round of 9mm Ammunition, and Using a Firearm in the Furtherance of Committing a Crime.

The charges stemmed from an incident at Parham on August 15, where the accused, along with others, allegedly robbed Calt Mini Mart in Parham.

The incident ended in an altercation with the police where he was shot and hospitalised.

He was released from the hospital on Tuesday afternoon and is now charged. He is expected before the court on Wednesday.
