Jason Cedeno,26, has been sentenced to nearly three years in prison for weapons and drug offenses.

The sentencing took place on October 7 in the All Saints Magistrates’ Court, where Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel presided over the case.

Cedeno faced multiple charges including possessing a Glock 48 Austina 9mm pistol, for which he received the most severe sentence of two years, 11 months, and 23 days in prison.

In addition to the firearm charge, Cedeno was convicted on several other charges. For the illegal possession of four rounds of ammunition, he was sentenced to six months. The court also handed down sentences for two separate cannabis possession charges: three months for 183 grams and one month for 53 grams.

Magistrate Emanuel ordered that all sentences are to be served concurrently, meaning Cedeno will effectively serve the longest sentence of just under three years.

His arrest came after a series of police raids conducted in September.
