Fort Road Resurfacing Making Significant Progress
The resurfacing of Fort Road, the primary access route to Fort James, is making significant progress.
The project involves resurfacing a 1,500-foot stretch with a new 4-inch-thick layer of asphalt spanning 18 feet in width.
Commencing on Tuesday, October 8, the project is expected to take around three weeks to complete and is being overseen by the Public Works Department.
Maria Vanessa Browne, Minister for Works, emphasized that this initiative reflects the government’s commitment to improving public infrastructure throughout Antigua and Barbuda.
