Young Horse Saved by Swift Response

Over the weekend, Dr. Ibrahim Allaz, a Veterinary Officer in the Ministry of Agriculture’s Veterinary and Livestock Division, received a concerning call.

A young horse, injured and disoriented, was found in a gutter on Valley Road, between the West Bus Station and Golden Grove.

It was suspected that the horse had been taken and abandoned by some juveniles. Upon arriving at the scene, Dr. Allaz led the rescue effort, and after what felt like a long struggle, the mission was successful thanks to the help of compassionate civilians.

The horse was safely removed, treated by a veterinarian, and is now recovering in a secure environment.

The Ministry’s Management appreciates everyone who contributed to the swift response and support during this unfortunate incident.
