The Future Looks Bright for Barbuda
The future is bright for the Sister Isle of Barbuda as several major projects are set to commence in the coming months.
These initiatives aim to enhance residents’ quality of life, boost local economies, and promote sustainable development.
With a focus on infrastructure improvements, tourism expansion, and community development, Prime Minister Gaston Browne said his government is committed to revitalizing Barbuda and ensuring it reaches its full potential.
These projects will create job opportunities and foster an environment for growth and innovation.
“The modern international airport has opened Barbuda to international tourism, through projects like the “Peace, Love & Happiness (PLH) Resort, the luxury Nobu Resort by Robert De Niro, and RoseWood Luxury Hotel by Murbee Ltd, creating hundreds of jobs, directly and indirectly. These initiatives are putting Barbuda on the map as one of the world’s premier luxury destinations, giving opportunities for growth and development to all who inhabit the island,” PM Browne said in an independence address today.
Meanwhile, several luxury resorts in Antigua are to be constructed, including the recently launched US$400M Nikki Beach Resort and Residences, the One & Only Hotel at Half Moon Bay, and the Luxury Marriot at Yeptons Beach, which will commence construction next month.
