24 year old Curtillia Charles
24-year-old Curtillia Charles from a community called Silver Lake in Dominica was gunned down last night.
She was shot at around 8 p.m, the major crime unit of the Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force (CDPF) has begun an investigation into the shooting death of 24-year-old Curtillia Charles from Silver Lake.
According to reports from police sources, Curtillia and another woman, 27-year-old Curtisha Charles, were shot in Silver Lake at approximately 8:00 PM last night.
Curtillia was pronounced dead at the Dominica-China Friendship Hospital (DCFH) at 10:08 PM, while Curtisha was admitted to the hospital for medical attention.
The police are requesting assistance from the public as they investigate this homicide.
Such young lives are to be taken away by gun violence. May healing come to your family girl. I don’t know you but I have a daughter your age.
I don’t know but our governments in the Caribbean must put laws in place for violent crimes, laws that will make perpetrators tremble even before they are caught, real deterrent. We as a region got to take the bull by the horn to maintain our peace and tranquility
