24 year old Curtillia Charles

24-year-old Curtillia Charles from a community called Silver Lake in Dominica was gunned down last night.

She was shot at around 8 p.m, the major crime unit of the Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force (CDPF) has begun an investigation into the shooting death of 24-year-old Curtillia Charles from Silver Lake.

According to reports from police sources, Curtillia and another woman, 27-year-old Curtisha Charles, were shot in Silver Lake at approximately 8:00 PM last night.

Curtillia was pronounced dead at the Dominica-China Friendship Hospital (DCFH) at 10:08 PM, while Curtisha was admitted to the hospital for medical attention.

The police are requesting assistance from the public as they investigate this homicide.

    • I don’t know but our governments in the Caribbean must put laws in place for violent crimes, laws that will make perpetrators tremble even before they are caught, real deterrent. We as a region got to take the bull by the horn to maintain our peace and tranquility
