Beresford Francis has been remanded to His Majesty’s Prison for breaching his bail conditions.

The 25-year-old resident of Vernons was intercepted at the V.C Bird International Airport by the police, after he attempted to board a flight to London.

The accused was previously granted bail by a magistrate in a matter that is currently before the court.

He was ordered to surrender all his travel documents and report to the Parham Police Station every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday between 6 am and 6 pm.

However, around 9:15 pm on Monday, January 20, the accused checked in with another passport on a flight scheduled to depart from Antigua to London around 11:30 pm.

He was taken into custody and his travel documents were seized.

He reappeared in court on Tuesday and was remanded to prison.
