Two Men to Face High Court Judge After $600K Hashish Seizure

23 January 2025 - 11:36

Two men are set to appear in the High Court for drug trafficking after police seized over 52 pounds of hashish valued at more than $600,000 EC.

Deshawn Lattibeaudiere, 23, and Denfield Roberts, 49, were arrested following a raid in Jennings on May 12, 2024.

They face multiple charges including drug possession, intent to transfer, and trafficking.

During a recent court hearing, Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel committed their case to the High Court’s May assizes, where the defendants will enter their pleas.

If they plead not guilty, a full trial will follow.
