Tesfa Luke of Swetes is fined $30,000 for Possession of Cannabis in the Magistrate’s Court on Friday.
The accused was charged and taken before the court for unlawful possession, after officers attached to the Criminal Investigations Department Task Force found him with the substance on Tuesday.
The fine is to be paid in 18 days; failure to do so, he will serve 2 years at His Majesty’s Prison.
