Over 100 Antiguan and Barbudan nationals have been singled out so far to be deported from the United States of America. That number is expected to increase significantly, as what has been described as a wave of brutal exodus.

The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) recently released a list outlining the number of individuals marked for deportation by country.

For Antigua and Barbuda, the figure stands at 110.

The names of those individuals have not been disclosed, and no additional details have been provided to assist families or local authorities.

President Donald Trump’s initiative for mass deportations across the United States is currently in motion.

The executive also shared a selection of images depicting individuals boarding military planes, although it was not clear who they were or the location where the photos were captured.

As of November 24, 2024, ICE reports that there are 1,445,549 noncitizens in its non-detained docket with final orders of removal. Here are the numbers for other English-speaking Caribbean nations:

Jamaica – 5,120

Guyana – 1,236

Trinidad & Tobago – 1,197

Belize – 899

The Bahamas – 426

St. Lucia – 202

Barbados – 151

Grenada – 149

St. Vincent and the Grenadines – 127

Dominica – 104

St. Kitts and Nevis – 68

Turks and Caicos – 25

Montserrat – 8

British Virgin Islands –

For non-English speaking countries, the figures are as follows:

Cuba – 42,084

Haiti – 32,363

Dominican Republic – 12,699

Venezuela – 22,749

  3. They are ours. We have no choice but to accept them. Just as we justifiably deport Jamaicans and Guyanese en masse when they engage in criminal activities abuse our Immigration laws, we must accept our own vagabonds when they receive similar punishments from Satan and Hell.

  11. Many more Antiguans and Barbudans will get deported from the US as the time goes by. Women have gone to the US just to have their babies and still owe the hospital in the US money. Lied on visa applications. Running to a country and living undocumented is very dangerous. You wont get proper benefits and you will always have mediocre jobs. You are running the risk of having a comfortable life in your country and sleeping in basements and cleaning toilets or babysitting in the US.
