Over 13 million dollars worth of illegal drugs went up in flames today as police destroyed massive drug hauls in a high-security operation in the Burma area.

Thick smoke billowed into the sky as officers set fire to confiscated cocaine and cannabis, seized from ports, cargo shipments, and hidden compartments.

Police PRO Inspector Frankie Thomas says it’s a warning to traffickers that Antigua and Barbuda is no safe haven for drug crime.

Law enforcers, along with judicial officers, oversaw the operation, ensuring these dangerous drugs are permanently removed from circulation.

    • Please. I’m sure over 300 million dollars worth of drugs were confiscated. Anyway let me behave myself. I don’t even understand why there should be any publicity on that. So you burn drugs so what? We aren’t even sure about what you’re telling me
