Missing 9-Year-Old Chantel Crump

The search for 9-year-old Chantel Crump has entered a critical phase as law enforcement agencies continue their efforts to locate the missing child. Reports have surfaced indicating that neither her uniform nor bag has been recovered, contrary to what some information portals previously suggested.

On Thursday afternoon, authorities conducted an extensive search at an apartment in Glanvilles, where a man and woman were taken into custody in connection with Chantel’s abduction. Investigators drained a cistern at the residence, but no signs of the child or any of her belongings were discovered.

The investigation centers on a woman who was seen picking up Chantel on Wednesday afternoon in a Honda car from Grays Farm. While she remains in custody and is being interrogated, she has admitted to having taken the child but has offered conflicting accounts of the events that followed. The woman’s partner is also in detention as the investigation unfolds.

Law enforcement is urging anyone who may have information that could assist in locating Chantel and reuniting her with her family to come forward and contact their nearest police station. The community remains on high alert, hoping for a safe return of the young girl.
