Probe Continues in Tragic Death of 9-year-Old Chantel Crump

The police are continuing investigations into the circumstances surrounding the death of 9-year-old Chantel Crump of Green Bay.

The lifeless body of Chantel Crump was discovered in the early hours of Saturday, March 15, at Weatherills, after she went missing on Wednesday.

Two people are in police custody being questioned in connection with her disappearance and subsequent death.

The Police Administration is saddened by the outcome despite all the efforts to have Chantel reunited with her family. Condolences goes out to her family and friends as they grieve her tragic death.

Acting Commissioner Everton Jeffers is calling on residents of Grays Farm and the wider communities to remain calm and exercise patience, while the police continue with their investigation.

He further reassures the nation that no efforts are being spared to ensure full closure is brought to this matter.

He appeals to anyone with additional information to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or call the Crimestoppers anonymous hotline number at 800-8477.

  2. Apparently the killer enjoys watching horror films she even named a few movies she liked on fb until they took it down to try cover up for her so this seems bigger than I thought
