20-Year-Old Angela Mejia
Angela Mejia, a 20-year-old, has been sent to His Majesty’s Prison and placed in isolation.
She allegedly killed 9-year-old Chantel Crump.
Mejia appeared before Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel without legal representation during an early morning court session.
Security measures around the courthouse were significantly increased, with police establishing blockades and restricting access to the High Street building.
According to reports, Mejia allegedly took the child from Grays Farm on the afternoon of March 12.
The Five Islands School student was dressed in her uniform as she was on her way home from school.
Mejia is said to have brought her to Glanvilles, where she was killed.
It is alleged that the defendant admitted to the crime and took the police to where the body of the child was left in Weatherills.
The accused will remain incarcerated while awaiting her next court appearance on June 4 for committal proceedings.
She has indicated that she wishes to obtain legal counsel.
Let’s see which attorney in their right mind will represent this evil bitch!

They couldn’t even allow the family in court today and they telling me about isolation. she was suppose to walk t court with two buckets of water and back to base with the two buckets of water in the scorching sun. ofc she would want a lawyer. she’s working in a group and they already have a lawyer. im sure another sacrifice will be made to win her over this case. Angela is not working alone and she has her people behind her. This is all planned. Authorities need to do better investigation and stop protecting her. No lawyer should represent her. As a matter of fact she should be given a taste of her own medicine. Torture her, pluck out her eyes, dig out her ears, pull out her tongue then start pulling out her nails one by one until she give out pertinent information. After hang her by her back side until a drop of blood will not run through her veins. This 9yrs old angel deserves justice.
