Michael Freeland has won the St. George Primary, making him the anticipated candidate to contest the next general elections on an ABLP ticket.

At last night’s primary, Freeland received 350 votes, while Joel Rayne garnered 331 votes, Bakisha Francis received 142 votes, and Salim Browne received 42 votes.

Freeland spoke to Antigua News moments after his victory.

    • The two spoilers combined would not have made a difference. Some people just need to know when to quit! Of course the chief spoiler’s palm print(Dean Jonas) is all over this outcome. Don’t know why the ABLP didn’t get rid of him when the occasion presented itself!!
      Freeland would do well to recognize and capitalize on the strengths that Rayne brings to the table. Best wishes to all of you.
