In the electric atmosphere of the World Indoor Championships in Nanjing, China, Antigua and Barbuda’s sprint queen Joella Lloyd battled to a fourth-place finish in the women’s 60m semi-finals, clocking 7.25 seconds.

The national record holder couldn’t quite summon the magic that saw her blaze to first place in the heats with a time of 7.21 seconds.

Lloyd, who holds Antigua’s national record at a blistering 7.13 seconds, carried the hopes of the twin-island nation as their sole representative at the championships.
