Dear Editor
I am writing as a concerned mother, deeply affected by the tragic news surrounding Chantel Crump’s abduction and murder. Each day when my children leave for school, I find myself holding them a little tighter, praying for their safety more fervently than ever before. The heartbreaking reality is that Chantel could have been my daughter or yours.
The fear that now permeates our community is palpable. Parents are walking on eggshells, particularly those of us who rely on school buses for our children’s transportation. The recent events have shaken our sense of security, leaving us anxious and uncertain about the safety of our children.
Even with Angela, the alleged killer, behind bars, we are left with lingering questions. Did she act alone? The reality that there may be others like her at large is terrifying and keeps us awake at night.
This tragedy has changed the way we live in Antigua and Barbuda. We must come together as a community to advocate for our children’s safety and demand accountability. It is time for us to engage in meaningful discussions about how we can protect our children and restore peace of mind to parents everywhere.
In light of these events, I urge our leaders and law enforcement to take decisive action, to implement measures that ensure the safety of our children both at school and in our neighborhoods. We cannot afford to remain silent; our children deserve better.

Lady I understand what you are saying. I hear parents talking all the time since our princess was taken away from us and most of them are afraid..children minds looks confused and the way people look at number plates these days. This has put the entire nation on ALERT. JUSTICE FOR OUR PRINCESSSSSSSSSS. NO MERCY
Keep up a.steady and thunderous demand! JUSTICE FOR CHANTEL CRUMP, NOW! No retreat, No surrender!
Totally agree faithful national. We can’t relent.
I don’t believe any one has been the same since the senseless gruesome murder of this little princess
I don’t know what justice looks like right now cause I wish Angela could suffer the same way Chantel did
Think about it. Since the day this baby went missing, i took a drive through the village of grays farm, greenbay and many other aresa. I haven’t seen a child on the road alone. Many days after we been getting complains about possible kidnaps. Now, the government and the police are sleepign on us. we don’t know what to expect, we are currently living in fear, forced to fear what will become of our children.
I wonder which lawyer or law firm is going to take the job to defend what’s her name.. that’s another story
At the end of today, tomorrow and the days to come. we are still asking for justice for chantel. We are still pleading with the Gaston Administration and the Police and even the Antigua and Barbuda Justice System please dont fail Chantel. She died in a bad way and now we need her to rest in peace. Please we need Justice. #justiceforchantel
The population is no longer the same after this unfortunate event.
