The World Paediatric Clinic recently concluded a successful event focused on new patient screenings and follow-ups at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Center.
Over the course of Friday and Saturday, a collaborative effort between visiting and local healthcare teams provided consultations for a variety of cases, including scoliosis and general orthopaedic issues, totaling 37 patients.
The visiting team comprised esteemed professionals, including Dr. Chester Sharps, a specialist in scoliosis surgery, and Ashton Wagner, an experienced orthotist.
They were joined by Mrs. Lauren McIntosh-Shallow, the Executive Director for the Eastern Caribbean at World Pediatrics, who played a pivotal role in coordinating the event.
