UPDATE: Young Man Shot Dead on Christian Street Identified as Taheem Jackson

Taheem Jackson, was a well-known Steward at Cocos was shot multiple times on Christian Street

Grays Farm is in mourning following a tragic shooting that has left one young man dead. The incident occurred on Christian Street moments ago and has sent shockwaves through the tight-knit community.

The victim, identified as Taheem Jackson, was a well-known Steward at Cocos, where he was widely recognized for his friendly demeanor and dedication to his job.

Eyewitnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots. They also confirmed that Taheem was shot several times.

Police just issued an official statement. Read it below:

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a shooting incident at Grays Farm that resulted in the death of a 23-year-old man.

The alleged incident occurred around 7 pm on Saturday, March 29 on Christian Street. The victim was pronounced dead, shortly after arriving at the hospital.

Police officers are still on the scene conducting further investigations and will provide further details at a later update.

Meanwhile, the police are asking anyone with information that can further assit them in their investigation to contact the Grays Farm Police Station at 462-0481 or call the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913.

      We really have an abundance of illegal firearms that are used in the perpetuation of these crimes. We are unaccustomed to this level of criminal activity and it is adding to the already nervous tension all around. Government must act fast and see to the installation of security cameras as this would go a long way of deterring these criminals. Out there is savage these days with the amount of illegal guns all over.

    Very quiet fella. I don’t know the motive behind the killing at all. I never knew mr in any trouble with people. Mr always kept to himself. I hope it wasnt a case of mistaken identity. Because that would be so tragic. Aint no christians living on Christian street. THat place always got beef
