Six Grays Farm men are being questioned by the police for the unlawful possession of a firearm and several rounds of ammunition.
On Sunday, March 30, police were patrolling Grays Farm and found a firearm with several matching ammunition among a group of men near Hoppers’ Playing Field.
They were all arrested and taken into custody for unlawful possession of the illegal items. Further investigations are ongoing.
Let us clean the streets pronto.. alot of illegal guns are there. Look at how they shot my pardner. So many yutes own guns there days. Not east at all.
The article stated “Several people”, where is the hell do they get these illegal guns and ammunition from? We do not have a gun factory or a gun store that sells such weapons.
We get tourists from around all the world daily, and when they come through the airport or by boat, Custom do not search, their luggage like returned naive Antiguans and Caribbean nationals. People who work in the hotel industry can tell you what some of these returning tourist brings in their luggage. Everyone entering through our borders should be searching thoroughly. We don’t have scanner system that scanned luggage coming into the country.
Another thing, all these vessels coming in for Sailing Week are another concern. The authorities need to realize that we are living in a real-world that is changing rapidly before our eyes faster than we expected. We need to upgrade our security borders procedures every year or every two years.

The government needs to take security borders seriously, so we can reduce the amount of illegal weapons and drugs coming into the country.
