I don’t know why these march organizers and leaders don’t stop embarrassing the citizens of Antigua. You have these people getting out of their homes to go march against a government that won’t help us!! The government don’t actually care about us you know! And it’s time we realize that. Give up on the government. We march and they don’t hear. A whole prostest was staged and covered live by Antigua.News and did the government think about us? Isn’t it a case where they still raise vehicle licensing fees? We shouldn’t have to beg for change. The government is robbing us and that’s a fact! The Alfa Nero money he’s lying about could’ve gotten us far I guess but instead our tax money is what he desire. Wicked man
We need a march like what happened in Egypt in Cairo Tahrir Square few years ago. The people there didn’t give up until they accomplished what they marched for.
For any results to happen in Antigua, 80% of the people (population) need to hit the street and demand the government to do what we hired them to do or step down, Gaston Browne and Cutie Benjamin. The people have the power not the government.
You can rally all your want. Antiguans love misery. They will cry they are hungry and broke and still go to the polls and vote the same government. Antiguans are the best. They will literally forget their troubles on the eve of election when gaston and his men come and dangle a fifty dollar in their faces. A people get a government they deserve. Continue to walk in the hot sun then go back and vote labour. Idiots.
Really good from people. It was nice and peaceful just as expected. See if this was Dominica it would not be peaceful because those ppl know that power is take by force. Not coward Antigua.
Ohhhh this attracted more people than I anticipated. Hopefully the message gets across
The ‘Soul of the Nation’ march is a true light and reflection of the deep concerns and frustrations that many of us are feeling right now. It is crucial that our voices be heard, as we are calling for change on several pressing issues, including crime, the cost of living, and the state of many infrastructure around the island. Accountability and transparency in governance are paramount, and as political leaders, it is the duty of all constituency representatives, whether they make up part of the government or not to address these concerns with urgency and sincerity. This march is a wake-up call, and it is time for us to come together and work towards solutions that benefit all. Let us turn this collective energy into action for the betterment of our nation. Not only should this call on the government of Antigua and Barbuda or the oppositions, this also calls on us, the citizens of Antigua to take action for our rights. Complaining wouldn’t take us anywhere. The government or opposition can’t work alone, we need to work as a nation.
This march was a powerful show of unity in Antigua. We the people are clearly fed up, and it’s about time we demand better from those in power. Rising crime, the high cost of living, and the state of our infrastructure cannot be ignored any longer. We need a government that listens to our cry and takes action. Big respect to the organizers for stepping up and leading the charge. It’s time for real change in this country.
Massive show! Great success! A wake-up call!
What a set of delusional people who just love a good pappyshow!
Hahahaha
