Potters netball team honors its supporters (file photo)
The Potters Netball Club proudly recognizes and honors Ms. Ekua Gloria Richards for her outstanding contributions spanning over 40 years. Ekua has been an unwavering pillar of strength and inspiration, shaping and molding many of us into national players, international umpires, and national coaches. Her dedication to our development extends beyond the netball court, as she has also taken on the role of an educator, not only guiding members of the club but also positively impacting the wider community.
Beyond her commitment to the Potters Netball Club, Ekua has served as an executive member of the Antigua and Barbuda Netball Association. She has played a pivotal role in educating us about the importance of club structure, governance, and teamwork, ensuring that our club remains a well-organized and progressive entity.
The idea of honoring Ms. Richards came from one of our very own dedicated players, Ms. Tulip Hosford along with other members of the Potters netball club. We all recognized the invaluable role she has played in shaping the club and touching the lives of so many. It is only fitting that we take this opportunity to express our deepest appreciation for her extraordinary contributions.
In addition to honoring Ekua, we also extend our deepest appreciation to the following individuals who have provided steadfast support to our club throughout the years:
The Potters Netball Club is deeply grateful for the invaluable contributions of these individuals. Their unwavering support has not only strengthened our club but has also fostered a culture of excellence, dedication, and community spirit. As we honor them, we also reaffirm our commitment to upholding the legacy of hard work, mentorship, and passion for the sport that they have helped to instill in us.
Potters Netball Club salute you…..
Congratulations to all
Well done Potters Netball Club for giving these individuals their flowers while they are still alive. Mrs. Richards needs to be knighted she has done so much for individuals in this country. Hats off to you Mrs. Richards
I am always happy when we don’t save these recognitions for people’s funeral but instead let them know how much they are appreciated while they still have breath in their lungs
A well-deserved recognition for Ms. Ekua Richards for her commitment to and involvement in the development of Netball in Antigua several decades ago. As I heard it, Ms. Richards gained a doctorate in netball while studying in Canada, I think .
But Kudos to Ms. Richards and the other recipients.👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Really good to see. Well done.
This is quite a lovely gesture by the Potters Netball Club. Well done, folks. Positive information these days is sorely needed and truly appreciated!
