Black Honda Fit Stolen During Armed Carjacking Incident

14 April 2025 - 15:58

A black Honda Fit was stolen at gunpoint from a young woman in St. Johns.

The vehicle, which belongs to a resident of Five Islands, was taken as the woman was in the vicinity of G-Spot on Independence Avenue

According to reports, the incident unfolded when a man approached her with a firearm, demanding that she exit her car.

“It was around 1 a.m when my young daughter went to drop two people off to get something to eat. She remained in the vehicle. Then someone armed with a gun came to the vehicle and asked her to get out of the vehicle” her mother reported to Antigua.news.

“After she resisted, he signaled another guy from a black jeep came and told her get out of the f-ing vehicle…” she further explained.

Fortunately, the young woman was not physically harmed but was left shaken by the encounter. She promptly reported the incident to the police.

The suspect was reportedly accompanied by two other men in a black jeep, but she could not identify the vehicle’s number plate.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to come forward.

  5. Not safe in your own vehicle. That’s why day or night. when i’m driving i lock my car. There are cars that don’t automatically locked when you drrive off and thats why you have to ensure your vehicle is lock. if you’re letting someone out as they exit you lock. a case like this you’ll be able to drive off
