PRESS RELEASE

St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda — Wednesday, May 21, 2025

Police are searching for the suspects alleged to be involved in the theft of a motor vehicle that was parked on Wireless Road on Tuesday, May 20.

It was reported that around 2:20 p.m., the driver of a blue Honda Fit Motor car, registration number R5234, parked the said vehicle at the location, apparently leaving the keys in the ignition. Upon returning, the vehicle was discovered missing.

The police conducted an extensive search for the vehicle and later recovered it in the Cassada Gardens area. It was subsequently towed to Police Headquarters for further investigations.

The Police Administration is once again appealing to motorists to desist from the practice of leaving vehicles unattended and unsecured with keys in the ignition.

Anyone with information that may assist in this investigation is asked to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913/14 or call Crimestoppers at 800-TIPS (8477).
