Today, an officer from the Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force (ABDF) and her brother, who is employed in the Immigration Department, are set to reappear in court to address charges related to drug possession.
The siblings were charged with possession of marijuana following a police raid on their residence this past Saturday.
Their initial court appearance occurred on Monday, but the proceedings were adjourned until today as the prosecution requested additional time to prepare its case.
Acting Chief Magistrate Dexter Wason has granted both individuals no-cash bail, amounting to $10,000.00, with the condition of providing one surety each.
During the search of their home, law enforcement officials uncovered 2.3 grams of marijuana, leading to the charges of illegal possession against the pair.
Sounds fishy. The police were stalking these individuals? Do these people have a history criminal activity?
After all the resources used in this “raid” ,and all they found was 2.3grams of Mary Jane.l Chuuuuupz.
You always know when a person is hiding somwthing. it matters when you play a blind eye.
But isn’t this amount within the legal guidelines for possession of cannabis? Am I missing something?
One set of crooks. hmmm. Faithful National, are you defending? cause there’s people who were charged and the had less than that and i never seen you say shii.
