A local Soca artist has been charged with two sexual offences stemming from an alleged incident late last year.
The artist, who cannot be named for legal reasons until convicted, appeared before Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel this week facing charges of indecent assault and serious indecency.
The charges relate to allegations made by a woman regarding an incident that reportedly occurred on December 23, 2024.
During the court appearance, the magistrate granted bail to the accused.
A committal hearing has been scheduled for May 12, at which point the court will determine if there is sufficient evidence for the case to proceed to trial.
Since last year and only now appearing in court for bail? Mmmmm
