    • So many mistakes in your article.
The quake was at 1:31 pm, that’s early afternoon not early morning
The quake was 5.2, not 5.8 as incorrectly stated.
The quake was not the first in the Leewards for weeks. They were several quakes near Barbuda and near Guadeloupe and near Anguilla within these last few weeks.
Quakes don’t “originate” from a location…..poor choice of words.
Quakes are given an epicenter, which in this case was NW of Antigua
And to say that residents reported feeling the ground shaking is such a silly thing to say….what else do you expect in an earthquake? That’s like saying that residents felt the breeze blowing during a hurricane.

      • It was 4.6 not 5.2. It was 1:32pm AST, not 1:31pm. So many errors in your comment.

      • The headline said 5 2 but in the article it says 5.8.
It says in the EARLY HOURS OF THE MORNING.
Yet those of us who felt it know it was at 1:31 PM LOCAL TIME….AFTERNOON.
The UWI SEISMIC INSTITUTE puts it at 5 2.
The U.S.site puts it at 4.6 but THIS article says 5.8 in the opening paragraph after saying 5 2 in the headline.
So ROBERT, read a little more carefully before trying to get back at me, just because I found valid flaws in the article..
        Go stand in the corner.

    • It was really heavy!

  6. This earthquake is a warning to the nation on Easter Friday to stop the wickedness being done in secret. Know that the Almighty sees and knows all, so stop murdering our children and our loved ones. Stop the wickedness…the envy, hate, covetousness…. Stop taking what’s not yours and get right with God. Sometimes people don’t do anything to someone else but are targets of vitriol and all manner of negativity for simply existing. Get right with the Almighty.
