Memorial Mass for Pope Francis to be Held Today

Today Wednesday, the Holy Family Cathedral in Antigua and Barbuda will hold a Memorial Mass for Pope Francis, who passed away at the age of 88.

Bishop Robert Llanos of the Diocese of St. John’s Basseterre praised Pope Francis for his transformative papacy, emphasizing his humility and strength.

The Vatican confirmed that he died from a stroke and heart failure.

The Ecclesiastical Commission of Antigua and Barbuda expressed condolences to the Roman Catholic community, particularly Bishop Llanos and his clergy, encouraging them to find solace in their faith.
